Fall Ball for Minors and Majors - Fall 2024

SLLS is excited to offer recreation level softball to our rising minors division (10U - 2014 and 2015 birth years) and majors division (12U - 2012 and 2013 birth year) players.  SLLS players will be placed on teams that will compete on Saturdays from September 7 - October 26 in the North Penn Valley Softball League.  This is a developmental league focused on the introduction of kid pitch for our rising minors division players. 

• WHO: Rising minors division (10U - 2014 and 2015 birth years) and majors division (12U - 2012 and 2013 birth year) players. 
• WHERE: All games will be held at Schweiker Park on Moyer Rd. Lansdale PA 19446
• WHEN: Saturdays from September 7 - October 26

Intro to Pitching Clinic - Fall 2024

Get an early start with pitching with our Intro to Pitching Clinic!

This introductory pitching clinic is designed for beginner (or second year) pitchers who have little to no pitching experience (10U or 12U players).  The clinic will expose your daughter to the basic mechanics of the windmill pitching motion used by all competitive pitchers today. Players will be taught proper ball grip, mechanics of the wrist, arm circle motion, proper use of the hips, and correct leg and foot work. Participants will learn how to throw a straight fastball in this beginner pitching clinic through a series of pitching drills and full motion.

**PLEASE NOTE: Pitchers are required to attend with a partner to catch (parent, etc.).  This is not a drop off clinic.  Catchers will not be provided and it is helpful for parents to attend these clinics so they can learn the mechanics and drills to reinforce at home and eventually on the mound).
